Welding is the process of fusing metals together. Two pieces, or hundreds of pieces can be fused together to make one complete product. There are many different types of welding. Good welding involves practical knowledge (physics, chemistry, metallurgy) and a high level of skill that comes through many hours of practice. There is a big difference between someone who has just started welding, and a welder with thousands of hours experience with different welding processes, positions, and material types.
